The Getty Villa
Recently reopened after years of renovation under the designs of Boston-based architects Rodolfo Machado and Jorge Silvetti, offers a sense of ancient history. Nestled in the hills of Pacific Palisades, the Getty Villa is modeled after a first-century Roman house, the Villa dei Pairi. With fountains, gardens and ancient Greco-Roman artifacts, the Getty Villa serves as an educational and cultural center dedicated to the preservation of the collection’s antiquities.
