Scuba diving

  • A full-service scuba programme is offered at the Resort, including introductory scuba classes, PADI certification, introductory dives, shore dives, boat dives, kayak dives and night dives. Advanced classes and certifications are also offered.

In collaboration with several renowned Puerto Vallarta art galleries, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita showcases the work of well-known and up-and-coming artists year round.

Cultural Programmes

  • The Huichol: Witnesses of time

    One-hour lecture

    The Huichols are a native people indigenous to the western Sierra Madre mountains, and are one of the last tribes in North America to continue living as they did in pre-Columbian times. You will learn about their beliefs, traditions and unique handicrafts, which reflect a spiritual symbolism dating back at least 1,000 years.

  • Tequila: A gift from the gods

    A one-hour lecture and tasting 

    An icon of Mexican culture, tequila has an intriguing history, dating back to the Aztecs. This distilled spirit can only be produced from the Agave tequilana (blue agave plant). During tasting, you will be told the difference between the various kinds of tequila and given tips on ways to appreciate this fiery drink.

  • Mexican gastronomy: The alchemy of flavours

    A one-hour lecture

    Salsa and mole are two cornerstones of Mexican gastronomy. Learn how they differ from region to region, and about the extraordinary range of spices and surprising ingredients they can include.
