Cruise from the Resort’s beach to the uninhabited islet of Pulau Langgun – a haven of pristine rainforest encircling a karst lake. Ascend through the vibrant intensity of the rainforest to a hidden lake, before returning via the intriguing Gua Cerita (Cave of Legends) – mythical home of a giant phoenix, a captive princess and a deadly giantess.

Get unobtrusively close to the magic and mystery of the mangroves on this eco-friendly guided kayak. Traverse small, dense tributaries and follow the natural ebb and flow of this fascinating ecosystem to uncover hidden delights around every turn. 

Journey to the peak of Gunung Raya and then descend beneath the rainforest canopy to discover the layers and inner workings of this amazing tropical ecosystem – an experience enhanced at sunrise when the dawn chorus brings a wealth of bird-spotting opportunities .

You don’t have to go far for a fantastical adventure – the three islands in our bay are home to reef fish, wild beaches and fruit bats with a metre-wide wingspan!  Cruise past anchovy fishing boats to the wilderness of Kubang Badak and the reefs of Pulau Dangli.

Pick your pace for this cross-country exploration that is about both the journey and the destination!  Pedal your way through rural regions, taking in villages for a glimpse into local life, as you work your way to a cascading waterfall for a picturesque paddle or to the black sand beaches for a splash in the sea.  

Scale an impressive limestone outcrop up to 12-metres high at our natural rock-climbing site, just 200 metres from the Resort’s Royal Villa. Experience four different levels to suit varying abilities and ages (from 5 years old). A brief walk across the summit brings heavenly Andaman Sea views, followed by a thrilling abseil back to terra firma.

Located next to limestone cliffs and under the luscious rainforest canopy, our professional archery range is 10 to 20 metres long. With the natural setting enhancing the calm focus required, experienced and novice archers alike can practise holding, aiming and shooting with a recurve longbow and full-size target board, supported by a certified instructor.

Take to the waves with a jet ski, explore the distant sea stacks by kayak, try paddle-boarding and windsurfing or join activities like beach volleyball, fishing and cycling. An activity program runs daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Courses and lessons are available upon request for a fee.

Descend the stairs into the mystical lake on the Island of the Pregnant Maiden; cruise past craggy sea stacks sheltering rare plants and magnificent eagles; take in the bustling harbour town of Kuah; and enjoy a picnic lunch on a deserted beach.
