Just steps from Bridger and Sweetwater Gondola and Teewinot Charilifts Hugging the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is just steps from the Bridger Gondola, Eagle’s Rest and Teewinot chairlifts and overlooks over 5,000 acres of awe-inspiring skiable terrain.
Inside our Resort, Base Camp offers the comprehensive service and expertise of our Ski Concierge. A complete ski rental and repair shop, Base Camp also provides lift tickets, ski school and guide resources, expert equipment tuning and storage, and ski valet services.
NEW – Winter Bowls
Winter Bowls – This winter, skiers and snowboarders will have the chance to experience Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's eight legendary bowls with a Jackson Hole Mountain Resort athlete as the guide. From dawn to dusk, skiers will get to span the 2,500 acres (1,000 hectares) of skiable terrain while taking in sweeping views of the valley below. JHMR athletes will share their favourite lines, best powder stashes and expert tips. A suggested lunch in The Handle Bar might offer the perfect mid-day pause but bagged lunches to go are also available. Note that skiing and riding JHMR’s legendary bowls will be subject to snow conditions. Terrain will be chosen at the discretion of the athlete and guide for safety and enjoyable skiing and riding purposes.
Rentals
Skip the hassle of lugging your own equipment and rent from our in-house, full-service ski-rental shop. For adults, Base Camp offers the latest equipment from Kästle, Atomic, Dynastar and Fischer, and a line of skis, snowboards and helmets is available for children. The Ski Concierge will be happy to arrange all aspects of equipment rental, as well as tuning, valet, storage and in-room boot fittings.

Limited to just 30 members, the Mountain Club offers its members exclusive services and amenities. From access to a private lounge conveniently located next to Base Camp to private Ski Concierge services, the Mountain Club will take your ski experience to new heights.

Race programmes
The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Race Department promotes both recreational and competitive racing for all levels. Each season there are dozens of special club races, local and national competitions, and NASTAR.

Nordic skiing
For a more aerobic winter workout, try Nordic skiing. Shooting Star is a private club in Teton Village with excellent groomed cross country trails open to the public. At a combined 9.2 kilometres, Shooting Star’s Nordic course offers a variety of terrain from easy trails to more intermediate hill options, as well as skate skiing options. Nordic skiing offers a perfect winter experience in the crisp and rejuvenating mountain air. For those who would like to try Nordic skiing off the beaten path, Hole Hiking Experience and Jackson Hole Nordic both provide great trips into Grand Teton National Park.

Heli-skiing
The ultimate skiing adventure. High Mountain Heli-Skiing transports you to any of five surrounding mountain ranges for a day of unforgettable skiing or snowboarding on fresh, untracked snow. Skiers can expect a full day of skiing at 12,000 to 15,000 vertical feet (3,658 to 4,572 metres).

Half-day and full-day tours through Grand Teton National Park will give you a real taste of the beauty of Jackson Hole. Included are a biologist guide, snacks or lunch, warm beverages and transportation. Cross-country skis are available for rent.

Snowmobile and snow coach

Tubing
Not far from Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, Snow King Resort's Tubing Park offers a fun alternative to skiing. Guests can enjoy the spectacular scenery while riding the tow lift to the top of the hill, then take hold of the inner tube for an exhilarating ride down the park's groomed trails.

Winter wildlife safaris
Led by our in-house naturalist team, experience customized, four-hour expeditions in Grand Teton National Park, the Bridger Teton National Forest and the National Elk Refuge. Guests travel in a luxury SUV equipped with high-end optics and gourmet provisions prepared by the Resort’s chefs.
Wildlife adventures give you the opportunity to safely and comfortably view magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, beyond the highways and in remote areas. Along the way, you will learn about the flora and fauna, geology and history of this significant ecosystem, and have the opportunity to view elk, moose, mule deer, bison, wolves, bighorn sheep, bald eagles, river otters, trumpeter swans, owls and other rare birds. Our fantastic guides will customize the route based on your specific interests and recent wildlife sightings.

National Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride
The horse-drawn sleigh ride begins at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center. Don’t forget your camera, as this hour-long ride takes you face-to-face with the animals of the National Elk Refuge.
