All activities can be booked with our Lobby Concierge or Oceanfront Concierge teams. Private activities are also available upon request.

Eagle Ray Feeding
Feed our resident spotted eagle ray, Kainalu, with a resort marine biologist. Learn about these graceful creatures close up, an experience an encounter that will never happen in the wild due to their elusive nature. Private Eagle Ray Feeding available, upon request. All ages welcome.

Fish Feeding
With over 4,000 tropical fish from about 90 species swimming freely, King's Pond is certainly the most colorful pool anywhere. Fresh and ocean water combine via subterranean channels to fill the pond, which moves along with the tide. All ages welcome.

Eco-Tour with a Hualalai Naturalist
Take a guided traveling tour of the Resort’s natural wonders and learn about our native Hawaiian ecosystems, unique wildlife and natural and cultural history.

Tide Pool Tour
Explore and learn about tide pools and the creatures that inhabit them. Find out their common and Hawaiian names, and become a Hawaiian tide pool expert in the process. All ages welcome.

HUALALAI FISHING DERBY
Come join the Natural Resources team at the Waiakauhi Pond for some guaranteed fishing fun. Help them remove invasive Tilapia from this ancient Hawaiian Fish Pond to restore the natural ecology. Children and adults alike will enjoy hooking these sneaky fish out of Waiakauhi Fish Pond. For guests ages 5 and up.

Fish Circus
A Hualalai Resort exclusive, this activity allows you to help conduct your own fish circus. The smart and colorful fish in King's Pond can be trained to perform tricks.

Complete a lesson and lab to become a Jr. Marine Biologist. A truly fun and educational experience for children ages 12 and up.

Young guests will enjoy getting up close and personal with the Resort’s fascinating marine life and unusual habitats.
